I imagine the animals I depict coming out of the Box.
My abundance of images!

Sako Yachiyo (born 1954 in Hiroshima, Japan) is a Japanese artist living and working in France since 1979.
Working primarily in black ink on Washi paper, Sako avoids using color, favoring the paper’s natural tones. She employs a storyboard-like method, assembling scenes of everyday life interwoven with yōkai—playful and mischievous spirits embodying small daily disruptions—creating what she terms “Marabout-bout-de-ficelle.” Her yōkai are both humorous and protective, evoking the subtle absurdities of daily existence with minimalist strokes and refined clarity.Inspired by the Japanese tradition of ukiyo-e (pictures of the floating world), she combines this style with Western influences - everyday pieces along the lines of Yasujiro Ozu or Eric Rohmer - while maintaining a minimal, understated style.
