“… for years
we plаy this game
I am nauseated by it
but I want to play it
With you
because with no one else
I don’t feel this sick”

Radostin Sedevchev (born in 1988 in Pernik, Bulgaria, lives in Sofia) is a visual artist whose work engages with memory, history, and the poetics of archival material. Working across installation, drawing, object-based art, and experimental photography, Sedevchev reconstructs lost narratives by reactivating forgotten or overlooked materials—found photographs, personal documents, and objects from the past—imbuing them with new meanings and contemporary resonance.
His artistic practice is driven by an interest in the fragile space between the visible and the invisible, between private memory and collective history. Through careful visual and conceptual interventions, Sedevchev opens intimate, quiet dialogues with the past, while creating works that resonate with themes of impermanence, absence, and transformation.
Sedevchev holds a Master’s degree in Painting from the National Academy of Art in Sofia, where he is currently a PhD student and lecturer. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad, and has participated in international residency programs.
